There may come a time when you’d like to use a trial program for several months to a year before buying it. Some trading applications such as Equity Feed install something on your PC that prevents it from using a trial account more than once.
Here are the 3 items you’ll need to re-use pretty much any trial software indefinitely.
1. Throw-away email address
2. Windows Hyper-V or Mac Parallels
3. A VPN service to shield your IP address
With your throw-away accounts, mix up the addresses. Cycle through Hotmail, Outlook, AOL, Yahoo and Gmail. Use a name generator to help you come up with unique user names.
Install the Hyper-V service on your Windows 7, 8 or 10 PC. If you’ve got a Mac, you’ll need to have Parallels installed for this to work. In the links below you’ll find a video tutorial to help you get started.
Use Google to help you fill in the blanks if you get stuck during one of the installation steps. Almost all PC issues can be figured out within a couple of minutes searching around.
The idea behind all of this is to create a throw-away method for creating a new user and PC as needed.
To go the extra mile, I would highly recommend using a VPN service to mask your IP address on the Internet. Using a VPN client inside of your virtual machine makes you appear as a new person on a new computer in a different location each time you sign up for a trial account.
