TC2000 kicks ass! I’ve been using it for over a year and haven’t looked back. As I started watching how-to trade stock videos on YouTube, I seen a couple of gurus using it. At that time I didn’t know what it was called. I just knew that it looked pretty cool.
I originally signed up for the Platinum version. This comes with all of their services and features including the ability to auto-refresh custom scans. I’ve made the switch to Trade Ideas so I no longer need the auto-update feature. I currently subscribe to the Gold plan with one additional service added.
The standard $29.99/mo plan is absolutely perfect for Swing Traders or Investors who dont need real-time quotes. The price on the chart is always up-to-date according to BATS. To see all Market Makers combined real-time quotes, it will cost you another $15.00/mo for U.S. Real Time stocks quotes.
As pictured below, the real time quotes are indicated as the two turquoise triangles directly to the left of the current price. They represent the bid price and ask price. This image was taken after the close.
I subscribe to the U.S. Real Time stock quotes. If you’re a Day Trader its a must.
TC2000 does not offer a Level II indicator. For that you’ll need to rely on your broker. The TC2000 software is not considered a Trading Platform. It’s more of a Charting Software. Its for people who need something a little more responsive and feature packed.
The number of built-in indicators and oscillators is unlike anything I’ve come close to seeing in a brokers trading platform. DasPro is awesome, but in my opinion its charting capabilities dont hold a candle to TC2000. With most trading platforms its difficult to place multiple indicators on the screen before everything begins to look like a cluster-f***.
I like to use the mouse wheel to scroll in and out of a chart. In TC2000 its effortless. With most platforms, that feature is either not available or a little clunky. The other thing I really enjoy is the ability to customize my watch list. As shown below, I’ve added a number of statistics that I like to see in an instant.
By looking at the Volume Buzz column I’m able to spot the most volatile stocks. Today $KTOV traded +1000% more than it usually would on a normal day. By looking at this indicator I can begin removing stocks from my list to focus in on the movers of the day! Credit: B12 Trader for helping me setup my watch list.
In the beginning TC2000 was a little overwhelming. I wasn’t quite sure what to look for or what to look at. To help save you some time and trouble, I’ve found a way to share my layout with anyone. Unfortunately there isn’t an export to a file feature so I’ll have to email the layout to you using TC2000 mail. If you like the layout seen in my Live Day Trading videos just private message me in chat.
For only $45.00/mo its a great value for Swing and Day Traders alike who need to keep an eye on their stocks in real-time. Most brokers charge upwards of $100/mo for a crappy charting system, awkward scans and limited access to price indicators and oscillators. TC2000 brings all of your charting and statistic needs to an affordable, elegant platform that has been around for ages.
If your just starting out or between brokers I would highly recommend that you give TC2000 a shot. To compliment TC2000 you should also tryout Trade Ideas. The Trade Ideas program can be easily linked to TC2000 to create a seamless real-time charting platform that rivals the best of them!
I believe TC2000 and Trade Ideas come with a free trial. Check them both out then come back here and let everyone know what you think.
